Mandatory Title IX Training for Students, Get Inclusive

Get Inclusive is CSUDH's mandatory interactive online training that focuses on building active bystander intervention skills throughout three modules: Diversity/Inclusion, Consent/Healthy Relationships, and Alcohol/Drugs.

What you need to know:

  • Get Inclusive is a yearly training for CSUDH students.
  • Get Inclusive may be completed from a smartphone, tablet, or computer in several settings without having to start over.
  • Get Inclusive takes about 60 minutes to complete.
  • If you do not complete Get Inclusive by the due date, a hold will be placed on your student account that will prevent you from registering for classes.
  • Once you complete the Get Inclusive, the hold will be automatically removed within 24 hours.
  • All students, including online-only, part-time, full-time, graduate, and undergraduate students are all required to complete Get Inclusive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the required online Title IX Training, Get Inclusive?

A: Get Inclusive is an interactive, online training that is mandatory and yearly for all CSUDH students. It focuses on building active bystander intervention skills throughout four modules: Diversity/Inclusion, Consent/Healthy Relationships, Alcohol/Drugs, and Mental Health. It can be completed from a smartphone, tablet, or computer in several settings without having to start over.

Q: Do I have to complete this training, even if I took it last year or I’m only taking one class online?

A: Yes, if you are a student at CSUDH taking any online or in-person courses, you must complete this training. 

Q: How do I complete it?

A: You can log on to complete Get Inclusive clicking on the following link or logging into your myCSUDH dashboard (my.onemorethanfour.com) and clicking on "Title IX Training" in your launchpad. You can complete the program on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Q: The link isn’t working. What should I do?

A:  Please go to your myCSUDH dashboard (where Blackboard is located) and click on “Title IX Training” in the launchpad or click here. If you are still unable to access it, please email equity@onemorethanfour.com to resolve the issue. Please make sure to provide your student ID number.

Q: How long does it take?

A: Get Inclusive only takes about 60 minutes to complete. You can start/stop the program at any time and pick up where you left off. 

Q: What happens if I do not complete it?

A: If you do not complete it, you will not be able to register for next semester's courses.

Q: I took this training last year. Do I have to do the same program again?

A: Get Inclusive is a new program that is launching for the 2022-23 school year, so all students must take the 60 minute full program. Next year, you will have to take a "refresher" program that is shorter and different than the original program.

Q: When do I need to complete it by?

A: You must take the online training by the first day of the semester or your training will be overdue and a registration hold will be placed on your account.

Q: What happens if I do not complete Get Inclusive?

A: A registration hold or “service indicator” called “Required Title IX Training” will be placed on your account.  When you click on it, it will instruct you to complete the program and remove the hold. The hold will be automatically removed within 24 hours.

Q: There’s still a registration hold on my account, even though I’ve completed the program. What should I do? 

It may take 24 hours to remove the hold from your account. If the hold is still on your account after 24 hours, double check to make sure you completed the entire program. If the program is “complete” and it has been 24 hours, please email the Office of Equity and Inclusion at equity@onemorethanfour.com or call at (310) 243-3492. Please make sure to provide your Student ID number.

Q: I’m in the program and I cannot get to the next page. What should I do?

A:  Get Inclusive can provide you with technical support. Please contact them by emailing support@getinclusive.com.

Q: I never got a notification email about this program. What should I do?

A: Please check your Spam folder! You can still complete the training by clicking on the following [LINK TBA] or going to the Student CSUDH dashboard and use your login info to access the training via the Get Inclusive/Title IX portal. 

Q: I’m worried that participating in the training will bring up negative memories of past experiences, and I’m worried about my ability to cope with these memories. What should I do?

A: We’re very sorry that you are having difficulty completing this requirement. Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions on providing you this important information.
